What Would You Do.....?

What would you do for a KLONDIKE bar?
Matt: "I don't know, unwrap one"
Cristin: "Beg my husband to go to the store with me after a delicious dinner at 8 o'clock at night and then climb about 70 stairs just to get to the car once he gives.....
I have the best husband :)"

Sunday Afternoon.....

Here is my own, personal chef! I love Sunday afternoons! When I was growing up, Sunday afternoons always meant we were going to have an extra special meal! The day meant relaxation, good food and family fun. There are sounds that bring me back to being a little girl...like taking a nap on the couch while I heard the chicken sizzling in the kitchen. The yummy smells of the delicious meal to come. Today reminds me of my wonderful memoris!

I am not taking a nap on the couch...I WISH!...but I am getting ready for church tonight..ironing, keeping the dog somewhat occupied....and while I am doing this my studly husband is making Spaghetti with Chicken Parmesan. The smell and sounds are so delightful! Oh, and of course...the football game is blasted so that we can hear it from any room in the house. Oh well..I can handle that I guess. :)

Just thought I'd share some of my life's awesomeness with you today!

Our Photo Shoot

Last weekend we finally got to meet the great Daley Hake. He is an artist (photographer, musician, etc.) with whom we won a photo shoot. He lives in the LA area and while on tour he stopped in the Seattle area for a few days. It was such a great time hanging out with him getting to know a little bit of him. He took pictures of us...and let me just tell you...the guy can make anyone look good! :) Of course it was us he was shooting...so of course we looked good! Hee hee!I'm not kidding though...the man has an incredible eye and can capture something that only lasts for a split second. He's an amazing artist and we are really blessed to have had the opportunity to meet him and hang with him for a day or so. Check out his website while you can... www.daleyhake.com ...scroll down the main page and find some pictures of us and our surrounding area here in the Puget Sound. If we are not on that page, you may need to go to a previous post....so here he is....the great Daley Hake!....
